you might be thinking what’s this entry for..
basically, this is a comment (or “maybe” a support??) to my first entry. (the one about what is beauty)
it may sound a little bit weird criticizing and revealing the lapses of my own work.
why did i do so? because no one cared to post a single comment on my entries, so why don’t i?..heheh!!atik lang..
let’s just say that these were all realizations.
as far as i can remember, i published sunrise and sunset as things that i admire most. true! the two have been consistently awful and fabulous, except during rainy days, wherein the clouds tend to take their throne.
days have passed, and i’ve been admiring new more things everyday. i’ve found the thought of cramming and finding out that the deadline was being postponed, beautiful (and precisely, helpful..heheh!), how the stars twinkle glamorously in the vast dark sky, that shadows were definitely amazing creations, even i, is beautiful (laughs out loud), and a lot more.
i think this has something to do with the criterion that i consider as basis, which honestly, i bet i don’t have one. or if i have, it is still undefined.
how’s that?
let’s put it this way…
i’ve come up to two possible situations that lead to my little confusion that though, before, i firmly declared sunrise and sunset as the most beautiful for me, i always end up admiring other new things too.
first, maybe because the attributes i had set as a basis for my idea of “beautiful” can also be applied to those other new things. thus, my attention was caught the same way sunrise and sunset did.
secondly, human as we are, we never felt contented, and would always seek for anything more than what we have, a natural instinct, as what they call. in this case, our standards as regards to the idea of “beautiful” was not specifically set to its maximum, because, unconciously and unintentionally, it will go higher and higher every now and then, putting what we consider beautiful things to its consistent ranking.
sunshine and sunset were indeed great sceneries, but so as others, i still just can’t figure out what’s the least and the most one, as of now.
